What’s the best flooring for a kitchen?
For most kitchens we recommend LVT or sheet vinyl — both waterproof, warm and easy-clean. Engineered wood and sealed cork are great too.
Can you fit kitchen flooring over underfloor heating?
Yes — we’ll match you to a compatible floor (LVT, engineered wood or cork) and fit it to the heating manufacturer’s guidance.
Is laminate ok for kitchens?
Modern water-resistant laminate can work, but for a kitchen we usually suggest LVT or sheet vinyl for full water resistance. We’ll advise on a home visit.
Do you fit around units and appliances?
Yes — we template and cut neatly around units, islands and appliances for a tidy, professional finish.
